Project
The purpose of this project is to create two posters by analyzing the meaning of a song. For the first poster, after the interpretation of the song I found key words related to the meaning of the lyrics to develop several logotypes. Once I chose the best option, I develop layouts using a post modern grid system based off that logotype. For the second poster, I researched for images related to the emotions or the meaning of the song, and I developed a layout using a post modern grid system based off the image.
Process
The idea was to express the meaning of the word "Mistrust," to emphasize the lack of trust. The "trust" part was crossed to indicate there is no trust and the "Mis" part is bold to highlight that it is missing. Through the exploration of fonts the final Logotype was created using Helvetica and its variations.
Song Interpretation:
This song is about how love was so good at the beginning of a relationship but then the differences, confusion and lack of trust caused this love to end.
